Odisha: Animals at Nandankanan Zoo get special treatment this winter

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Dec 15 (ANI):As the temperature is dipping across Odisha, animals living in Nandankanan zoo on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, get special treatment for the winter season. To provide much-needed respite to the animals from the biting cold, the zoo authorities have made some special arrangements.As per Nandankanan Zoo authorities, special dietary arrangements have been made, plywood and room heaters have been given to the chimpanzees and blankets have been provided to keep the Orangutans warm.Paddy straws have been stashed in the rooms of snakes to keep them insulated.
