Asaduddin Owaisi hits back at CM Yogi Adityanath’s ‘population imbalance’ remark

Hyderabad, July 12, (ANI): President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Asaduddin Owaisi on July 12 reacted to Yogi Adityanath’s statement on increasing the Muslim population in the country. Owaisi said, “Are Muslims not natives of India? If we see the reality, natives are only tribals & Dravidian people.” “Their own health minister said that no law is needed in the country for population control. It's Muslims who're using most contraceptives. Total fertility rate which was 2.6 in 2016 is now 2.3 and would be stabilised by 2030,” he added. He further added, “India's demographic dividend is best amongst all countries.”
