Heatwave hits birds hard in Delhi, senior veterinarian explains precautions

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): A severe heatwave continued to prevail in parts of Northern India for a month has thrown normal life out of gear. In the national capital, not only people but birds are also bearing the brunt of continuous heatwave conditions. With the increase in temperatures, birds have become prone to heat strokes. Most of the birds fall ill due to lack of shelter and dehydration. Senior consultant at Charity Birds Hospital, Dr Haravtar Singh is taking all possible steps for the safeguard of birds and trying to make proper arrangements for birds.
