Chennai witnesses Modi-Stalin show of camaraderie, Tamil Nadu development on agenda

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), April 09 (ANI): Amid political turmoil between the ruling DMK and BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew over from Telangana to Tamil Nadu to inaugurate multiple projects worth 5200 crores. PM Modi received a warm welcome in Chennai on April 08. He inaugurated the new integrated terminal building of Chennai Airport. PM Modi visited exhibitions of the new building at the Chennai Airport terminal after the inauguration. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Governor RN Ravi and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia accompanied him to the exhibitions. PM Modi held a massive roadshow after the inauguration of the new integrated terminal building of Chennai Airport. Thousands gathered on the streets of Chennai to get a glimpse of PM Modi and gave a cheerful welcome to the PM. Later in the day, PM flagged off Vande Bharat Express between Chennai and Coimbatore at the MGR Chennai Central Railway. In the afternoon, Prime Minister Modi participated in the celebrations commemorating the 125th Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai. While addressing on the occasion, PM Modi expressed his love for Tamil language and culture. Later in the evening, Modi inaugurated road projects worth about Rs 3,700 crore at Alstrom cricket ground, Chennai.
