Washington, DC (USA) September 17 (ANI): Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri referenced an incident where Khalistanis heckled former PM Rajiv Gandhi in Washington. He recalled Gandhi's response, "Your capital is in Lahore," implying Khalistanis' true allegiance lies with Pakistan. Puri warned that external forces, including the ISI, exploit Khalistan supporters, using them as pawns, and that India will reject those who fail to recognize this manipulation. When asked about Khalistanis heckling former PM Rajiv Gandhi during his visit to Washington and his statement after that, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri says, "...He said your capital is in Lahore. During Rajiv Gandhi's tenure as PM, there was another country (Canada) which is not far from this place, they tried to make that its capital...they don't understand that those who encourage them in such things, their gameplan is different. so you are being used as a pawn in the hands of ISI and other forces...if they don't understand this, people of India will reject them."
