Many explosions in Iraq and Syria amid information that Israel attacked Iran

Tel Aviv [Israel], April 19: Information that Israel may have retaliated against Iran came shortly after a series of Middle Eastern countries recorded explosions within their territory on the morning of April 19.
Iran's IRNA news agency reported on the morning of April 19 that a series of explosions in Syria targeted military locations. IRNA said the attacks targeted Adra and Al-Thala military airports as well as a radar battalion located between the city of Adra and the village of Qarfa in southern Syria.
According to local Syrian news site As-Suwayda24 , the airstrikes targeted Syrian army radar sites located between the towns of Qarda and Izraa in the city of Daraa, southern Syria.
Meanwhile, in Iraq, explosions were reported in the al-Imam area of Babil province. People in the cities of Erbil and Mosul said they also heard the sound of fighter jets early in the morning of April 19.
Al Jazeera said sirens in northern Israel sounded on the morning of April 19, at the same time as news of Israeli missile attacks on the city of Isafahan appeared. However, the Israeli military later confirmed this was a false alarm.
Iranian state media only confirmed that air defense forces shot down the drone in Isfahan province. There are also Iranian reports of air defense forces operating around the city of Tabriz.
US officials confirmed that Israel had conducted military operations against Iran but did not describe them in detail. Israeli officials on April 18 informed the US that they planned to launch an attack in the next 24-48 hours, according to The Guardian newspaper.
